Next event: May 17, 2016, 5:30 pm
Theme: Inspiration

Every story has a hero who is flawed and frail, and prone to mistakes. Many times on their journey of figuring “it” out, the hero comes to believe they don’t matter, that their choices are insignificant, that the whole thing is meaningless. Yet something always motivates them to keep going. That something is inspiration.

As the hero of our own life’s story, we have our own inspiration, our own “something” that drives us out of bed in the morning each day. Whether its the warmer weather, the start of baseball season, or an opportunity in our careers, inspiration gives meaning to our lives and our daily choices — no matter our batting average so far! At this month of Eat Pray Love, let’s gather with all generations of our families for a delicious meal, easy conversation and fun music in celebration of our collective inspiration to be a community!

What others have to say about Eat, Pray, Love:

“Our family, like most, is a busy family. Very rarely do we get the chance to participate in something all together because of the kids’ age range. But with Eat, Pray, Love we are all welcome and have fun. It’s a way to invest time with our kids in an alternative faith-based community. It was really nice to just be able to get away from the daily chaos and electronic bombardment and spend some time with real people. (And our kids were glad they got to eat and did not have to do the dishes!) – Jon Newton

“It’s like a monthly party in your friend’s living room. I went the first time to say hi, and left surprised by the conversation with people I expected to be very different than me. So I went a second time and was thrilled my neighbours remembered the conversation, too. Now I go each month to learn more about myself and these new people I care about.” – Gail, Fairfield resident

At each monthly event, you are invited to:

  1. Hear stories relevant to topics current with our lives today
  2. Get hands-on with an art project
  3. Sing along to familiar popular tunes accompanied by live music
  4. Ask and answer questions about the universe without judgment
  5. Find out how others came to and continue to live in Fairfield
  6. Share a delicious meal in comfort

  1. Hi there. I am not a resident of Fairfield, but work at RJH. I have been searching for something like this and am wondering if I can attend Eat, Pray, Love? I will be away in September, but by any chance, is this a monthly occurrence? My schedule is such that I work most weekends so have not been attending church as of late, but perhaps you might have other days I can come? Thank you for your time in advance!
